The 8th Annual Womens’ HIV Health Conference, “This Could Never Happen to Me; Sex in Our City” will be held at Century House in Acushnet, on Thursday, October 20th, 2011 from 8:30 am- 3:00 pm. The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Martha Sanchez, an HIV/Hepatitis C specialist from the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center, as well as a panel of women speakers who will educate women on HIV and other health issues. Also featured is motivational speaker and comedienne Maria Falzone, who will present her lecture, Sex Rules!
A continental breakfast and lunch will be served and raffle prizes will be awarded. This event is sponsored by A.I.D.S., the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center, Seven Hills Behavioral Health and the New Bedford Community Connections Coalition.
